Mannur Rajakumaranunni is a celebrated Carnatic vocalist and playback singer, renowned for his seven-decade-long contribution to music. Trained under legendary maestros, including his mother Chinnamma Nethyaari, Veellineni Subrahmanyam Bhagavathar, and Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar—who honored him with the title Raga Ratnam in 1974—he is a beacon of traditional Carnatic music. A frequent performer on Akashvani since 1962, he also graced national programs like Kalasandhya. His accolades include the Sree Guruvayurappan Chembai Smaraka Puraskaram, Tagore Puraskaram, Swaralaya Award, and more. Rajakumaranunni’s concerts and lectures, both in India and abroad, reflect his enduring legacy and dedication to the art form.
